Fancy Joining Our Crew ?
Whether you're an old hand or a new hand, whether you like to act, write, direct, build sets, sew costumes, do lighting, sound, publicity, or make the tea - we'd like to welcome you aboard.
This is a very friendly group, always keen to bring in new talent and to try out new ideas. Our recent productions range from comedies to tradgedies, from pantomimes to murder mysteries, and from the traditional to the very modern - and even some original material from our own members.
Maybe there's something you'd like to do ?

About the Group
SATA is a amateur group with a history of community theatre stretching back over 40 years. We are based in St. Andrew's Church Hall in Ashton-on-Ribble and most of our performances are held there.
We typically stage 3-4 major events during the season from September to June. Rehearsals are held on Monday nights from 7:30pm until 10:00pm, and we do the set-building and technical work at the same time so everyone gets a chance to have a natter in the breaks.
In addition to staging plays we also try to keep up a social programme - going out together - to see a show, have a meal, or whatever takes our fancy.
Membership & Fees
Membership is open to anyone and we don't ask for an up-front annual membership fee. Members only pay for the duration of any production they are involved (currently £8 per month for adults and £1 per week for children under 16 or in full time education).
